Operated by The Port Alberni Shelter Society (PASS), Shelter Farm is home to Port Alberni’s first Therapeutic Recovery Community (TRC), a supportive long-term recovery and housing program for women recovering from addictions. The TRC residents grow over 70 kinds fruits and vegetables and tend to a flock of laying hens. The eggs and produce help to feed PASS clients and the greater community. All income supports our housing and recovery programs.

Our small scale regenerative farm is known mostly for our Red Wattle and Ossabaw hogs and Quail. Also we sell fresh seasonal produce, rabbits, chicken and eggs.
We have a farm gate licensed facility to process our animals on site.

We are one of three farmstands to be found on Ferguson Road so well worth the trip (although limited in winter) to discover crafty, gifty, snacky, yummy, spicy and sniffy must-haves!

We are a small farm located at the foot of the Beaufort Range out Beaver creek in Port Alberni. We primarily grow our lettuce mix along with a variety veggies, which we sell at the Spirit Square Farmers Market. We sometimes raise meat birds.

Coleman Meadows Farm is home to a happy herd of grass fed Water Buffalo. We operate a water buffalo dairy here in the beautiful Alberni Valley. We offer flowers in season, and water buffalo meats, yogurt and cheese. We are open each Saturday 10 - 2.

Wesco Foods is a local Community Grocery Store Cooperative. Additionally, we are a local food processing, manufacturing & distribution service team based in the Alberni-Clayoquot region of Vancouver Island and British Columbia.

We are a team that harvests, forages and gleans local food for food preservation and processing in a food-safe certified community kitchen for safe human and animal consumption and distribution.

For nearly 20 years, Avalon Farm has been producing certified organic blueberries in the heart of the Alberni Valley. Nestled in clean valley air and fertile peat bog, our organic blueberry farm is rooted in a deep respect for the land. We grow our berries slowly and naturally—without synthetic chemicals—allowing each plant to thrive as nature intended. The result is plump, flavour-rich blueberries bursting with freshness, nutrition, and the unmistakable taste of Avalon blueberries.

Eden Tree is a unique, permaculture-inspired farm in its 16th year. Eclectic plantings combine fruit trees, berries, perennial food plants, and flowers in an integrated production system. A small plant nursery, no-till vegetable gardens, top bar beehives, and various chicken and rabbit runs contribute to inventory.

Site-grown nursery stock includes heirloom vegetables, native forest plants, berries, herbs, and beneficials. Ecologically-focused garden coaching and design services are available.

We're a small market garden specializing in fresh and dried herbs, but we also produce seasonal vegetables and cut flowers. We are regulars at the Spirit Square Farmers' Market, and we're happy to discuss private sales, including larger orders of fresh or dried herbs.

We are a localy owned and operated prawn and tuna fishing vessel that offers public sales right off the boat during fishing season and after season sales while supplies last , including prawn tails , whole frozen tuna and sashimi grade individually packaged tuna loins .
