Shelter Farm - Port Alberni Shelter Society

Operated by The Port Alberni Shelter Society (PASS), Shelter Farm is home to Port Alberni’s first Therapeutic Recovery Community (TRC), a supportive long-term recovery and housing program for women recovering from addictions. The TRC residents grow over 70 kinds fruits and vegetables and tend to a flock of laying hens. The eggs and produce help to feed PASS clients and the greater community. All income supports our housing and recovery programs.
