The Edna Cox Social Justice Bursary celebrates the next generation of community builders—students who are already showing a heartfelt commitment to social justice, community development, and local food security. This bursary is awarded to a graduating Alberni District Secondary School student who has engaged in this work, whether through a Social Justice class, hands-on involvement in a school or community garden, or volunteer efforts that uplift vulnerable members of our community.

 

The Alberni Valley Food Security Society is warmly accepting donations toward this year’s Edna Cox Social Justice Bursary.
